Dr. Serigne Ndiaye

Dr. Serigne Ndiaye is the President and Founding Director of Work and Study in Africa (WSA). He was also the founding director of Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) in Senegal. Dr. Ndiaye has worked in the field of International Education for almost two decades. His experience as an international educator spans a vast array of activities, which include designing and implementing safety and security protocols for study abroad participants, conceptualizing and coordinating international faculty development seminars, organizing and running long and short-term college and high school programs as well overseeing internship and community engagement programs. As a certified intercultural trainer, Dr. Ndiaye has designed and facilitated cross-cultural training workshops for hundreds of students and professionals. Serigne received his Master’s degree from Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal, and his Ph.D. from Emory University. He is also an experienced lecturer in African Studies and Caribbean Literature
